SUNDAY
MCC Worship team once again led us into the mighty presence of the Lord.
Bishop Farley preached an awesome message, “What is that in your hand?” from Exodus 4:1-4 1 And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor listen to my voice: for they will say, The LORD has not appeared to you. 2 And the LORD said to him, What is that in your hand? And he said, A rod. 3 And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. 4 And the LORD said to Moses, Put forth your hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand...
What he carried in his hand was his identity – he was a sheepherder- a shepherd. Can he do this job as a shepherd? His staff – his identity influenced the people he was around. The sheep, family, friends but could it influence Pharaoh?
His identity was “Self Actualization” - “Self-Made not God made. Is who you are by God? What you are is what you have made yourself not what God made. He was a snake in the grass. His influence was what he made of himself not what God made. He ran from what he saw the snake in the grass. See who you are and change who you are.
On that day he became the the servant of God and would serve people changing a whole nation. The Man of God influenced by God. Be a man and a woman of God. What the rod became was a man changed to influence people by God not by man. Here I am Lord take me and use me, take my identity and use me for your kingdom.
BOX SERMON
In the box was an alligator head, Pastor Karren ministered to the children and adults that there is a wild beast in us with a nature that will roar but that nature can be calmed by Jesus. When something scares us we can pray to Jesus and He will calm us. We can pray to Jesus and he will remove all the fear. Testimony – Jessica told Pastor Karren after the service that the box sermon went right along with Joey coming to Jessica the night before crying and scared. Jessica told Joey to pray to Jesus and he would keep him safe.

The subject was declaring war on FEAR! 1. Fear not for “The Lord is There” -- Jehovah Shammah2. Fear not for the “Lord will Provide” --Jehovah Jireh3. Fear not for “The Lord is Conqueror”-- Jehovah Nissi In Exodus 17 we find God’s people “facing their fears” as they fought against the giants that were in the land promised to them. Karren illustrated Moses holding the rod as God told him to, as they fought against the Amalek. As Moses held the rod up Joshua would win the battle. When his arms came down because of the tiredness and strain of holding the rod up, Joshua was losing the battle and people were dying. Moses arms became to hard for him to hold up. Then Aaron and Hur gave him something to set on and they stood on each side of Moses holding up his arms until Sunset. As a result Joshua and his troops crushed the army of the Amalek. We need the body of Christ to hold the pastor of the church up in prayer, support and unity to accomplish what God wants at the Christian Center. WE ARE IN NEED OF A NEW CHURCH COPIER!Our Church copier expired, bit the dust, gave up the ghost! We have had it for over 14 years. The repair man said it cannot be repaired. You can’t even get parts. Fourteen years of use is awesome! We can purchase a digital one which is much more efficient for just 1,100 dollars. The cost of using our computer copier is approx. twelve cents a copy, the digital would be one cent per copy. We need your help, we will raise our first offering this Sunday. Please pray about making a sacrificial offering.
REVIVAL REPORT! Tuesday 20th Another great night of revival with a little comedy. Bro. Ramey made Bishop Farley an honorary member of their team “Unity for Jesus.” They placed a cowboy hat on his head and presented him with medicine bag. They carry their anointing oil in it and use it for healing and deliverance. They sang together, with Bro. Steve accompanying on the drums. Bishop said they needed a name for the group so he called them “Two big guys with an Indian in the middle and a longhair on the end!” They did two old hymns and harmonized pretty well. Bishop Ryan preached a sermon about what he had done in life that was stupid or dumb and then what he had done that was right. It was a great message full of personal experiences that touched several lives very deeply. He made a statement that he had never worn a cowboy hat in his life. So Bishop Farley took one up and placed it on his head.
Tonight is the last service of our spiritual renewal revival. Make plans to attend if you want a touch from God “NOW IS THE TIME!” Tonight is the night!
